I've always been a dreamer,

          I was a little girl who was always drafting floor-plans for my room and imagining ways that I could feel new, and appeal to whatever era of adolescence my sisters and I were in. I was also obsessed with my mothers handwriting. It's full of character, every perfect swirl in her cursive gave it charm, and the long ascenders and descenders in her print made it distinct. I used to have her write the alphabet out and copy it for hours to practice. It's something that makes me feel connected to her and makes what I do so special. 

       Fast forward to my teens, there was a little show called "4 Weddings", on TLC. It's like the Pinterest of weddings before there was Pinterest. You know the one where 4 brides judged each other's weddings based on different categories, and one lucky winner got a free honeymoon. I digress. That show inspired me. I found myself fascinated with how they decided what elements mattered to them vs the other. I loved how it gave insight to the idea that weddings could tell a story and involved transforming a blank ballroom into a space that evoked emotion, told a story, and became an experience for their guest.

       I'm the kind of girl who believes in the power of personal connections. That's why I love  diving into deep conversations with my clients, getting to know their quirks, style, and visions, Because let's face it cookie-cutter events just don't cut it. Your event should be as unique as you are!
